For those who are being invited to the AYA Assembly, each year the AYA arranges for a block of discounted-rate rooms at the four downtown New Haven hotels listed below. The AYA will alert all invitees when these special blocks are about to open, about three months prior to the Assembly, with links to the hotels’ dedicated webpages for Assembly-goers to make their reservations directly at the special rates.
The period when these hotels offer their special Assembly rates generally begins three months prior to Assembly and ends one month prior to Assembly. After this period ends, participants will need to book their rooms through the hotels’ public websites (if rooms are still available) or however else they prefer to make hotel reservations.
Because the number of hotel rooms in downtown New Haven is finite, and because the period when Assembly discounted rates is limited, all Yale Club presidents, Class secretaries, G&P alumni association chairs/presidents and others who are responsible for appointing AYA Delegates are urged to make their decisions by the end of June each year, so as not to leave their delegates at a disadvantage when it comes to making hotel bookings.
