ARE CHILDREN WELCOME AT REUNIONS?
Yes! Yale Reunions have long been considered a wonderful opportunity for Yale College alumni to introduce their families to their classmates and to Yale. Many events are informal, and you may choose to have your child attend with you.
WILL THERE BE ACTIVITIES FOR MY CHILDREN?
Yes. AYA works with classes likely to have children attending to include programming for children and adults alike so all may enjoy their time on campus. Please see the Reunion Schedule for your class's details. Saturday's "Morning at Yale" will include activities for children to participate in with their parents. The "Family Festival" on Saturday afternoon will offer carnival games, an inflatable funfest, and other children's activities.
WILL THERE BE CHILDREN'S MEALS?
Yes. With the exception of the Class Dinner, which may be a served sit-down meal, meals are informal and buffet-style, with selections appropriate for children. If you do not wish to bring your child to dinner on Saturday night, you have the option of enrolling your child in the Camp Bulldog program, which includes a dinner option.
WILL THERE BE CHILDCARE?
Yes. AYA contracts with Bright Horizons Family Solutions, a professional childcare provider, to offer "Camp Bulldog," a supervised program for children ages 4 months to entering 8th grade. Children will be divided into four age groups with activities and meals in and around Payne Whitney Gymnasium. Please see the Camp Bulldog section of our Web site for more information.
DO I HAVE TO PRE-REGISTER FOR CHILDCARE?
Yes. Space in Camp Bulldog is limited, and pre-registration is required. You may register for Camp Bulldog online as part of the overall reunion registration process. If you have any questions, please contact AYA at firstname.lastname@example.org or (203) 432-2110.
HOW MUCH DOES CAMP BULLDOG COST?
The Camp Bulldog fee is $90 per child for any number of sessions, which covers program costs such as activities and staff. This is in addition to the children's fee for your class reunion, which covers general reunion setup and the cost of your child's meals (regardless of whether eaten with the class or at Camp Bulldog). There is no class reunion fee for children under age 3.
CAN I BRING MY OWN BABYSITTER?
Yes. Some parents do bring their own babysitter to campus with them so they may fully enjoy the weekend. You will be charged a reservation fee for your sitter to cover meals and housing, as appropriate.
