WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
Those arriving by air or train should go directly to reunion headquarters to check in and get final weekend information. Those arriving by car are encouraged to park first: Pierson-Sage Garage if staying on campus or visiting for the day; hotel parking if staying at a hotel. Then take the Reunion Shuttle to headquarters.
Your ultimate destination when you arrive in New Haven will be your class reunion headquarters. Please arrive at the gate serving as the college's main entrance. This gate will be marked by a large reunion banner; other college gates are usually locked. Main entrances are located as follows:
Branford: York St.
Davenport: York St.
Jonathan Edwards: High St.
Old Campus: College or High Sts.
Pierson: York St.
Silliman: College St.
Timothy Dwight: Temple St.
WHERE CAN I PARK?
If staying on campus or visiting for the day, AYA recommends parking in Yale's Pierson-Sage Garage and using the Reunion Shuttle to get around campus. Click here for directions to Pierson-Sage and a map of campus. Parking on the street is subject to meters, ticketing and towing; public lots and garages are usually not open 24 hours a day; and Yale lots have either limited or no access. For those at hotels, you may park at the hotel (for a nominal fee), and use the Reunion Shuttle to get to events.
HOW DOES THE REUNION SHUTTLE WORK?
For arrivals, the Shuttle picks up regularly at the train station and Pierson-Sage Garage. The Shuttle also serves Tweed-New Haven airport for Sunday departures only. Most airport shuttles will drop off and pick up on central campus for reunions. For transportation around campus, staff in headquarters and at the hotels can provide details.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Most reunion events are casual. For the Class Dinner, most classes suggest jacket and tie for men and comparable attire for women. Reunion meals are usually served outdoors under a tent and cannot be moved indoors regardless of weather, so please plan accordingly.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE?
Spring temperatures in New Haven can range widely. In addition, rain is always possible. We advise you to plan for variable weather and bring an umbrella.
WILL I HAVE A ROOMMATE?
It is likely that you will share a suite with other attendees; single attendees may share a bedroom. If you request to share a suite or room with a particular classmate, your reservation must be received by the special requests deadline of May 4th. You are limited to two roommate requests only.
ACCESS TO CAMPUS BUILDINGS
During reunions, many favorite campus spots -- Payne Whitney Gym, Sterling Library, the Yale Art Gallery, The Yale Center for British Art, and the Peabody Museum -- will be open for your enjoyment. However, access to the following residential colleges not being used as reunion headquarters will be restricted: Berkeley, Hopper/Calhoun, Franklin, Morse, Murray, Saybrook, Stiles and Trumbull. WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL?
Please notify AYA immediately. Full refunds will be made for changes and cancellations received by May 4th; partial refunds provided after May 4th, based on the class's recoverable expenses.

I KNOW I SENT SOMETHING IN THE FALL; DO I NEED TO DO SOMETHING ELSE NOW?
Starting in the fall, alumni had the opportunity to add their names to a list of classmates planning to attend the reunion. Complete registration material is available on this website. In order to finalize your preparations for reunion, you do need to complete a registration, indicating any guests that will attend with you, what meals you will attend, any campus housing needs, and payment for the weekend.
CAN I JUST SHOW UP ON CAMPUS AT MY REUNION?
Though we will be prepared for a limited number of walk-in registrations, advance registration is strongly encouraged to hold your space at reunion, and to help your class leadership have a more accurate idea of how many meals and reunion souvenirs to order. In addition any special meal or housing requests must be made by May 4th. Our ability to honor on-site special requests is very limited.
I ALREADY MADE MY REGISTRATION, AND NOW I NEED TO CHANGE IT. HOW CAN I DO THAT?
Our online registration system is designed to accept new reunion registrations only, so please use email or phone to notify us of changes.
If you previously registered online and still have your confirmation email, you may reply to that email with a note regarding the changes you need to make. We will update your registration and send you a new confirmation within two weeks. (Changes received during the two weeks prior to reunions will be processed on an ongoing basis, usually within 3-4 business days.)
If you registered by mail or fax, or no longer have your confirmation email, you may send your changes to the AYA at email@example.com or call our reunion hotline at (203) 432-2110. A new confirmation will be sent within two weeks.
Please note that changes after the cancellation deadline of May 4th that result in a reduction of reunion fees may be subject to partial refunds based on your class's recoverable expenses.
WHAT DO ALL THE *'S ON THE ATTENDANCE LIST MEAN?
The list of those planning to attend was started last fall, and includes all classmates that hope to attend the reunion this spring. As actual reunion registrations are received, we add the asterisk (*) to their names.
I JUST SUBMITTED MY REGISTRATION, HOW COME MY COLLEGE ISN'T ON THE ATTENDANCE LIST?
Colleges are added to the list once the AYA processes the registration. Registrations made online are usually processed within three (3) business days of submission.
HOW DO I GET IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE IN MY CLASS?
The Online Alumni Directory gives you immediate access to your classmates' contact information without having to call Yale. Assistance is available on the site if you are a first time user, or have forgotten your password.
I KNOW MY OLD ROOMMATE IS COMING, WHY ISN'T HIS/HER NAME ON THE LIST?
AYA asks permission to post names on our online registration list. If your roommate's name is not listed, he or she may have asked us not to post the name on the public attendance list, or we may not have received the registration yet.
